An National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) is obtained in the workplace. By utilising the knowledge you already have along side the advice and guidance from your assessor this is an opportunity to gain recognition for your skills
The aim of this NVQ is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of individuals who are employed in providing a Taxi or Private Hire service. This qualification is based on current best practice needed to be a modern taxi driver. You will be assessed on your working relationships, customer care in the taxi industry, preparing, helping passengers with special needs, dealing with difficult passengers, driving your vehicle safety and efficiently and dealing with emergencies and incidents during a journey.

Aged 19 +
No previous NVQ Level 2 qualifications
No more than 5 GCSE’s grade A - C All our NVQS are offered in partnership with LTS.
